Leonhard von CallSerenade for flute, viola, and guitar, op. 66 This Serenade for flute, viola, and guitar,
op. 66, is not available anywhere other than in Hebe, as far as I
know. It has not been published before in our own time. It is really
charming, and easy, and very nice for the guitar, even for beginning
players, because the guitar often plays a single line in its upper
register, as though it were a violin. The guitar isn't just a bass as it
often is in this period, but plays an equal role in the musical dialogue
with the other instruments. |
